Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operations, Execution, and Tactical Oversight
- Maintain a high on-site presence across all studios, ensuring strong execution of BODYBAR operational and experience standards.
- Directly oversee Studio Managers and Fitness Managers to ensure consistent leadership, execution of playbooks, and achievement of performance expectations.
- Partner with Studio Leaders to execute lead-generation tactics (in-studio outreach, events, community partnerships, digital follow-up, and presale activations) to drive brand awareness and revenue.
- Develop and implement initiatives that attract new clients, improve sales, enhance member retention, and elevate the overall member experience.
- Monitor and manage all operational KPIs—including sales activity, conversion, utilization, payroll %, revenue performance, and retention—and implement timely action plans to close performance gaps.
- Oversee staffing plans, scheduling, payroll management, and labor models to support operational efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure facilities are clean, safe, operational, and brand-ready; coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and vendor needs.
- Address escalated member issues professionally and coach managers on effective service recovery.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of studio reporting, administrative processes, and compliance requirements.
- Evaluate competitive landscape and market trends to identify operational opportunities and risks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Studio and Fitness Managers, fostering a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven culture.
- Conduct consistent 1:1s, performance reviews, and goal-setting conversations to support employee growth and accountability.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard talent to maintain a strong and scalable bench across studios.
- Recognize strong performance and address underperformance promptly and professionally.
- Ensure teams consistently deliver BODYBAR’s brand standards, client experience expectations, and compliance requirements.
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual performance goals across revenue, membership, profitability, retention, and operational metrics.
- Analyze performance data and member feedback to identify opportunities and implement improvement plans focused on improving studio performance.
- Support lead generation planning, promotional execution, and member communication in partnership with ownership and HQ.
- Recommend workflow efficiencies, process improvements, and resource adjustments to support scalable growth.
- Provide weekly and monthly operational updates to ownership summarizing performance, key risks, and priorities.
- Ensure each studio executes consistent social media activity, brand-forward community engagement, and local marketing initiatives.
- Support Studio Leaders with studio-level activations, partnerships, and community outreach to drive awareness and lead generation.
- Collaborate with HQ Marketing on system-wide campaigns, studio launches, and brand initiatives.
- Support instructor onboarding, training classes, and ongoing delivery standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a multi-unit management role within the fitness, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
