The Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Senior Environmental and Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing environmental compliance and safety programs, conducting audits, and implementing policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
Duties And Responsibilities
Five (5) years of experience in environmental and safety management including:
Instructor certifications related to the environmental and/or safety field AND/OR possess and maintain one or more of the following certifications from industry leaders:

Duties And Responsibilities
Five (5) years of experience in environmental and safety management including:
- Inspections to ensure compliance with applicable DOD, Navy, State and local ESH laws, regulations and policies.
- Preparing and maintaining environmental and safety documents.
- Generating and maintaining safety and environmental programs for one or more of the following:
- Fall protection
- Weight/material handling equipment
- Energy Control (lock-out/tag out)
- Aerial work platforms
- Confined space work
- Respiratory protection
- Fire safety and prevention
- Conducting safety training.
- Control and track Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in an environmental or safety related field OR
- A combination of High School diploma or GED equivalent AND three (3) additional years of experience in environmental and safety management AND possess and maintain two (2) or more of the following certifications:
- Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10
- OSHA 30
- OSHA 161
- Hazwoper
- Hazardous Materials
- Industrial Hygiene
Instructor certifications related to the environmental and/or safety field AND/OR possess and maintain one or more of the following certifications from industry leaders:
- Certified Safety Manager
- Safety Management Professional
- Certified Safety Professional
