The Vice President of Product Management will lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of Wavelynx’s product portfolio. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle from vision to end-of-life, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with company objectives. The VP of Product will manage a team of professionals and work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and other departments to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will be a humble leader who can roll up their sleeves and dive deep into the work, and is invested in making our partners win with innovative technologies.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute the strategic design of Wavelynx’s product development operation in collaboration with company leadership.
  • Develop multi-year product roadmaps that strike a balance between innovation, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the industry.
  • Define and evangelize the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across time horizons, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Build a robust fact base of market, customer, and competitor insights through research and customer discovery.
  • Deep partner understanding and management of joint roadmaps and needs to support new and existing products.

Product Execution

  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from conception through launch and optimization.
  • Establish and monitor key product metrics, KPIs, and success criteria.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet market needs.
  • Champion agile methodologies and iterative development approaches.

Team Development & Management

  • Build, mentor, and scale a world-class product management organization.
  • Establish product management best practices, frameworks, and processes.
  • Foster a culture of customer and data-driven decision making to ensure we build the right products on time.
  • Manage performance, career development, and succession planning for product team members.

Market & Customer Intelligence

  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct regular customer discovery and validation activities.
  • Transform customer insights into actionable product requirements.
  • Represent Wavelynx at industry events and with key strategic customers.
  • Drive global strategic product goals and initiatives, including emerging technologies.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Must be experienced in the end-to-end product development lifecycle through launch and optimization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High proficiency in technical problem-solving.
  • Proven strategic leadership in developing and executing product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Deep understanding of how multi-functional teams collaborate to achieve market success.
  • Track record of scaling product management teams, processes, and platforms.
  • Extensive experience in delivering and managing software and RFID solutions.

Education & Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated ability to drive product strategy and execution.
  • 3+ years in senior product leadership roles, such as VP or Senior Director.
  • Experience collaborating with go-to-market teams to align product vision with sales and customer success strategies

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is offered at $225-$250k
