Position Summary
The Director of Information Technology serves as a strategic business partner, responsible for aligning technology strategy and execution with the organization’s business objectives. This role collaborates closely with leaders across the company to enable growth, operational efficiency, and risk management through secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions.
The Director of IT provides leadership across infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives in a global, multi-subsidiary environment. This position is accountable for elevating IT from a support function to a trusted partner that delivers measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Partner with executive leadership and business unit leaders to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and growth initiatives.
- Translate business needs into technology strategies, roadmaps, and solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on technology investments, risks, trade-offs, and emerging trends.
- Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with organizational goals and long-term growth plans.
- Establish and maintain IT governance, policies, and standards that support scalability, security, and compliance across all subsidiaries.
- Oversee global network, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure, including a Cisco Meraki–based environment and Microsoft O365 Enterprise ecosystem, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of enterprise systems and ERP platforms, including Deltek Costpoint, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and alignment across multiple business entities.
- Lead IT operations across multiple international subsidiaries, balancing standardization with regional regulatory, security, and operational requirements.
- Ensure effective disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident management capabilities.
- Own the organization’s cybersecurity posture, including prevention, detection, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data protection, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technology risks while supporting business continuity and resilience.
- Oversee security programs and controls supporting regulated and government-contracting environments.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT organization with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture where IT is viewed as a proactive, collaborative partner across the business.
- Manage technology vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation, performance management, and strategic alignment.
- Develop and manage IT operating and capital budgets.
- Prioritize technology investments based on business value, risk, and return on investment.
- Drive cost optimization while maintaining service quality, security, and scalability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems in complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive leadership and business stakeholders.
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and multi-entity or global technology initiatives.
- Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Master’s degree in a related discipline.
- Experience supporting global organizations with multiple subsidiaries and distributed teams.
- Strong familiarity with Cisco Meraki networking environments and Microsoft O365 Enterprise administration.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar project-based ERP systems, particularly in regulated or government-contracting environments.
- Experience with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification), including readiness assessments, control implementation, and ongoing compliance.
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives in complex or regulated environments.
- Strategic, business-oriented technology leader with strong executive presence.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
- Trusted advisor who builds credibility and alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Decisive, accountable leader with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity, competing priorities, and risk in a global environment.
