We currently seek a full-time (1.0 FTE) Core Faculty Physician for our Family Medicine Residency Program. The successful candidate will be a BC/BE Allopathic or Osteopathic Family Medicine physician with interest in both inpatient (including Obstetrics) and outpatient care and clinical teaching of both residents and medical students. (Candidates with a Sports Medicine Fellowship would be strongly considered and could have the ability to have weekly Sports Medicine clinic sessions). The position also requires an academic skillset that includes curriculum development, evaluation, advising, and scholarly activity. Leadership opportunities are available within the residency program as well.
Applicants should have an interest in the care of medically-underserved. Experience in osteopathic manipulative medicine, research or proficiency in the performance of common Family Medicine procedures are desirable but not required. Each faculty member is encouraged to develop an area of expertise to contribute to the research and/or residency curriculum. Core faculty members are expected to complete the Faculty Development Fellowship through the University of Minnesota within the first 2 years of employment.

We include onsite physical therapy and behavioral health at our Whittier Clinic.
