Senior Marketing Account Manager (NYC) at Cavalry freelancing
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Account Manager to lead client relationships and oversee the successful delivery of integrated marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for a strategic, client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency or marketing environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional results.
As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you will partner closely with internal creative, digital, media, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of marketing clients, acting as their trusted strategic advisor.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Lead campaign planning, execution, and delivery across digital, social, content, email, paid media, and brand marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and new marketing solutions.
- Develop marketing strategies that align with client business goals and KPIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Creative, Media, Digital, Strategy, and Production.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, scopes, and deliverables.
- Present campaign strategies, performance reports, and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide optimization recommendations.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and CRM records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management within a marketing agency, advertising agency, or integrated marketing environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple client accounts and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media, social media, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and analytics.
- Excellent client-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with project management tools and CRM platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency experience managing national or enterprise-level clients.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing platforms.
- Knowledge of marketing automation and performance reporting.
