Certified Nursing Assistant at Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery

Rebound is looking for a per diem/relief CNA to join our Surgery Center team. Relief status employees are required to avail themselves to Rebound Surgery Center at least 4 shifts every 6 weeks.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports the nursing team in providing safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care throughout the surgical experience. The CNA assists with pre-operative and post-operative patient care, maintains a clean and organized clinical environment, and contributes to a positive patient experience in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Assists connecting patient to monitors, takes temperatures
• Transports patients at discharge
• Assists patients to wheelchair and with ambulation
• Assists with cold therapies
• Assists with C-Arm
• Cleans and prepares patient stretchers with linen draping
• Accurate charting
• Uses Bladder scanner
• Empties sharps containers
• Takes contaminated trash to designated area at end of day
• Directs in coming patients to appropriate bay

Requirements

• Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license required
• Healthcare AHA BLS certification
• 1 year experience as a CNA in hospital environment required (ER, surgical, PACU, etc.)
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills
