Remote Real Estate Counsel at RoShay Services

We are seeking a Real Estate Counsel to support renewable energy project development, focusing on TE financing transactions, project and asset due diligence, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities Include

• Collaborating with project development teams on strategy, contracts, and acquisitions.
• Managing real estate deliverables, curative actions, and liaising with capital markets and outside counsel.
• Reviewing and negotiating leases, easements, purchase agreements, and site control documents.
• Analyzing title commitments, policies, and surveys; supporting title curative work.
• Providing legal support for project finance, M&A transactions, permitting, and interconnection.
• Conducting due diligence, resolving process roadblocks, and managing contracts.
• Communicating across teams to drive deals while minimizing legal risks.

Qualifications Include

• J.D. and licensure in at least one state.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate and renewable energy industry.
• Strong drafting, negotiating, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage risks.
• Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
