POSITION:

Are you looking for an opportunity to become a valued team member in our restaurant with a breathtaking view of our mountain slopes? Solitude is looking for a server with excellent coordination and people skills to bring our expectation of great customer service to the next level during our guest's dining experience. The restaurant server is to sell the menu and place orders with the kitchen to ensure proper timing of delivery. Anticipate all guest's needs and provide prompt and friendly service. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of customer service to execute Solitude's standards
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate
  • Communicate with strong verbal skills
  • Must have great problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work flexible work schedules that include holidays and weekends
  • Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler's Certificate and Sips and Tips
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 lbs.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system
  • Be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests' questions
  • Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware
  • Answer incoming phone calls and schedule reservations for customers
  • Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, host, and other servers when needed and complete additional tasks as needed (i.e., shoveling patio)
  • Close and clean the restaurant and prepare for food service the next day
