Compensation: $42 - $46/hour (negotiable) Location: Rochester, New York. This is a 100% onsite role, there is no remote or work-from-home option. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and approve subcontractor safety plans. Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and conduct audits. Formulate action plans to address safety challenges and deficiencies. Lead accident investigations and perform root cause analyses. Identify and communicate safety trends and improvement opportunities to management, field supervision, clients, and staff. Actively engage as a member of the TSG professional safety team. Contribute to the establishment of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Address workers' safety concerns promptly and effectively. Participate in project planning meetings, collaborating with construction and subcontractor managers. Maintain communication structures related to health and safety. Monitor safety-related documents, reports, and issues. Conduct site-specific safety orientations and training sessions. Qualifications and Experience: Preferred qualifications include a degree in safety or a related field, or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years of verifiable construction safety experience. Possession of certifications such as OSHA 500, STSC, CHST, OHST, CHSC, GSP, ASP, CSP, or equivalent is desirable. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism and conduct that aligns with the core values of the organization.
