Role Overview

NorthStar Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Finance Operations to join our collaborative and engaging team. This leader will work with CRNAs, physicians, and clinical leadership to oversee regional functions and ensure they align with NorthStar's overall needs. The successful candidate will provide leadership by setting operational goals, plans, and policies and creating scalable business processes to support NorthStar's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage market finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Share responsibility for market P&L results with operations leadership and drive revenue and cost improvement initiatives.
• Support region P&L budget through regular performance reporting and variance analyses.
• Work with Accounting on month-end close and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business and its strategic direction.
• Develop financial presentations for operational leaders and finance leadership.
• Build strong relationships with market leaders and senior management and act as a trusted advisor.
• Conduct audits and assessments, review financial contracts and transactions, and develop tools to optimize operations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years' operational leadership experience required; healthcare experience preferred. Anesthesiology experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, build high-performance teams, and execute successfully.
• Understanding of different business functions and experience with strategic planning.
