Hospital in Your Home is seeking a highly motivated, autonomous, compassionate, and experienced Paramedic who helps maintain our high programmatic standards. As a Paramedic in this care setting, you will work on a multidisciplinary team (MDs, APPs, case managers, pharmacists, etc.) to ensure the patient and family’s acute care needs are met. This is a team recognized for their teamwork and collaboration amongst all members of the care teams.
The Schedule
The Hospital in Your Home Paramedic position for the Kansas City metro area is a key member of the patient care team and has the following responsibilities:

- This position covers 7 days per week.
The Hospital in Your Home Paramedic position for the Kansas City metro area is a key member of the patient care team and has the following responsibilities:
- Provides in-home patient care services to Hospital in Your Home patients.
- Completes assessment of patient’s physical and psychosocial status and needs.
- Responsible for working with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Executes orders at the direction of the Command Center Team and notifies physician and Command Center team of patient needs and changes in condition.
- Demonstrates proficiency with clinical competencies and participates in-service training and continuing education opportunities.
- Documents patient visits, interventions, assessments, educational activities, and support provided.
- Abides by legal and system rules, policies, and procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
- The paramedic will admit, assess, administer medications and infusions and perform lab draws on acute Hospital In your Home patients in the home setting.
- Kansas and Missouri Paramedic license required.
