Job Overview

The Quality Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring superior quality standards for our products and components. This position involves setting up and executing product inspections, evaluating product quality, and updating quality process documentation to support operations. As a valued member of our quality assurance team, you will contribute to our reputation for excellence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, procedures, and process documents to assist Operations in adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the Quality department on development and process evaluation activities.
• Develop product control plans, inspection protocols, and measurement reports, with appropriate guidance.
• Participate in process validation programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for operations regarding drawing and process specifications.
• Conduct analysis and troubleshooting to identify root causes of product and equipment failures.
• Select and procure necessary inspection tooling and equipment through established requisition processes.
• Assist in process qualification efforts as required.
• Maintain consistent attendance and adapt to variable schedules, including potential nights and weekends.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in applying systematic and analytical approaches to problem-solving.
• Ability to implement processes and procedures effectively to achieve objectives.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with raw material processing and assembly operations.
• Familiarity with office software, including email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills to drive tasks to successful completion.

Qualifications

• A combination of relevant education and work experience, or an educational degree that supports successful job performance.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant experience in quality engineering or a manufacturing context.
