APPLICATION ADMINISTRATOR

As an Application Administrator working in the West Des Moines, Iowa, Home Office of FMH, you will automate installations and configuration of supported applications for Windows Server, Windows Desktop, and Linux operations systems in accordance with the defined practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1-5 or more years in a related field.
  • Education: High school degree required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or, related field preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to script in common languages is a plus. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, especially Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

As an Application Administrator at FMH, you will be responsible for:

  • Trains internal users to use applications and services.
  • Monitors functioning of applications to ensure systems operate in conformance with specifications.
  • Assists with installations, upgrades, and configurations for applications and services.
  • Establishes users, user environments, directories, and security for applications being installed.
  • Assists with upgrading system and corrects errors to maintain system after implementation.
  • Helps with updating and maintaining system documentation, especially after troubleshooting and resolving issues.
