Director of Behavioral Health Operations

YSS is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Behavioral Health Operations to join our team and lead our Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics towards continued growth and excellence. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinic operations, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of behavioral health services to our clients. You will be a strategic leader, a change management expert, and a sales-focused individual with a proven track record of optimizing performance and driving results. Additional responsibilities include:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics, aligned with YSS's mission and vision.
- Lead and mentor a team of Clinic Operations Managers, Intake Specialists, and Administrative Specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with the Behavioral Health Clinical Director and other YSS leaders to ensure seamless integration of clinic operations with broader organizational goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, maximize efficiency, and improve client service delivery.
- Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, track performance metrics, and identify areas for optimization.
Change Management:
- Champion and lead the implementation of new initiatives and programs within the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics.
- Effectively communicate changes to team members and stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Develop and implement training programs to equip team members with the skills and knowledge necessary to adapt to new processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and propose operational improvements.
Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the reach of the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics and increase client volume and retention.
- Build strong relationships with referral partners and community agencies to generate new client leads.
- Work collaboratively with the YSS Business Development team to promote the clinic's services to the target population.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the budget for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics, ensuring financial responsibility and efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor clinic revenue and expenses, identifying and implementing cost-saving solutions.
- Work with YSS leadership to secure funding and resources to support clinic operations and growth initiatives.
Patient Experience and Outcomes:
- Oversee the delivery of best-in-class patient experiences, ensuring that clients receive high-quality care in a compassionate and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to refer patients to additional YSS resources that can provide complementary services and enhance overall outcomes.
Employee Engagement and Performance:
- Serve as a catalyst for employee engagement within the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinics, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
- Drive the achievement of scorecard metrics for the outpatient division of YSS, ensuring that team members are motivated and empowered to deliver exceptional results.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within healthcare operations, with a focus on behavioral health (preferred)
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams, driving operational efficiency, and implementing change initiatives
- Strong understanding of financial management principles and budgeting practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
