National Account Manager
Red Bull
Reporting to the Director of Limited Service Restuarants, you will increase vertical and horizontal distribution, volume, High 5 execution and scalable programs within assigned limited service restaurant chains.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Develop relationships with the TOP 75 LSR Concepts within the US
- Gain vertical distribution and develop new clients within the Limited Service Restaurants Channel
- Build mutually beneficial relationships with key account decision makers and partners
- Customizes presentations using business insights that appeal to your customer’s needs to gain execution and programming
- Create account programming ( LTO’s, staff programs) that are relevant to each account and increase volume
- Negotiate contracts to guide execution and programming while maintaining appropriate spends per case
- Conduct business reviews and holds partners accountable to deliver upon agreed upon execution and programs
- Participate in relevant Trade Shows and Conferences
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Thoroughly analyze and implement strategy to secure new accounts to expand our distribution footprint and availability to consumers
- Use Industry knowledge, network, and contacts to determine appropriate decision makers at target accounts to secure opportunities to sell Red Bull
- Prospect market through trade shows and industry events to develop relationships
- Present data-driven insights to accounts, to illustrate the value proposition of Red Bull
- Close new business deals, negotiating mutually beneficial multi-year partnerships with customers
- See new partnerships through, integrating contract requirements with business operations and establishing a route to market and field force activation plans
CROSS FUNCTIONAL FACILITATION
- Build relationships and credibility throughout the organization to influence at the region level
- Work with our HQ On Premise Marketing and Brand Marketing to create custom account programs and ensure brand standards are intact
- Communicate with partners in the regions to lead implementation, and to provide and receive account and program feedback
- Conduct regular reviews with SDOPs and DOPs to view program results and year to go plans
- Align with Distribution Team to ensure route to market is in place for each account
- Align with Distributor Partners in the region to keep National Accounts top of mind
ON PREMISE MARKETING PROGRAMS
- Develop programs to motivate, engage and reward staff
- Work with trade marketing and 3rd party agencies to develop relevant social/ digital programming to increase brand and product relevance
- Create programs that deliver a premium product experience
BUDGETS & PLANNING
- Manage budgets by account, always analyzing return on investment and rate per case
- Plan and tracks volume monthly by account chain
- Analyze distribution and non-buy reports on a monthly basis to close gaps
- Help develop, track, and control budgets to secure agreement on the annual Business Plan budgets
- Controls account volume forecasting and spend management through accurate and regular Customer Program Management (CPM) updates
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
- Perform post-promotion analysis following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness.
- Use all available RBNA and customer data, tools and Category Management support to maintain a position of expertise within the Energy Drink Category with assigned accounts
- Analyze sales data thoroughly to define priorities, identify opportunities, and apply focus for the team
BUSINESS REVIEWS
- Conduct scheduled business reviews with account leadership and internal field sales to update on business, competition, and opportunities.
- Provide Energy Insights that inspire change in promotion, price, or display practices
- Participate in activities to build relationships and ‘wire’ accounts to its deepest level
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 8+ years of CPG sales experience, with experience creating growth in Limited Service Restaurants
- 5+ years of new business development experience
- Experience using analytics to produce business insights
- Experience implementing scalable programming that delivers sales results
- Business Mangement experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
