Position Summary

Position Summary

This position is for a rehab aide based out of the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute Outpatient Centers for specialty rehabilitation services. We offer an intensive, interdisciplinary team approach to recovery in specialty area of oncologic, lymphedema, and pelvic health rehabilitation. Services are provided to individuals aged 10 through adult. A rehab services aide will provide hands on support to therapists in patient care, environment maintenance, and office/clerical work as requested. The position will support two clinics in Orlando, located at 1222 S Orange Ave and 125 W Copeland Ave on an as-needed basis. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish language is preferred.

Responsibilities

ALL benefits start day one

Essential Functions

  • Under the general direction of the assigned rehabilitation supervisor, under the direct supervision of staff therapists, assists in routine daily treatments, patient transporting and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintains the clinic and office in a clean and well-organized fashion.
  • Assists in in-coming supplies and equipment.
  • Assists in the inventory of supplies, and prepares orders on a monthly basis.
  • Answers the phone and takes messages, photocopies material, files and performs general office duties and other duties as directed by the team leader.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education/Training

High school diploma or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification

Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
