In this vital role, you will assist clients in maintaining their independence within the comfort of their own homes. Key responsibilities include supporting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and light housekeeping, as well as assisting with meal preparation and errands. By employing a wellness-oriented approach, you will enhance their self-sufficiency and build long-lasting relationships with those in your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, and personal care tasks.
• Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry and errands.
• Prepare meals and help clients manage daily activities.
• Foster independence in clients through a wellness-centered approach.

• Compassionate and patient demeanor to effectively care for clients.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and their families.
• Ability to manage personal care tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Recent paid experience as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant within the last two years (or newly certified as PCA).
• Completion of 60 hours of documented training as a Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to successfully pass skills testing.
