Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the current academic year. This role guarantees full-time hours through the end of the school year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.
As the Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs in a self-contained classroom. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and staff to develop tailored educational strategies that meet each student’s unique challenges. Additionally, participation in district-provided professional development sessions will be required.
Position Overview:
Illinois ESE K-12 Certification
Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related degree
Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
