Job Summary
Bay-CSS is looking for a Residential Direct Support Professional to join our team in Waldorf for weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
Saturday from 8am to 2pm and Sunday from 8am to 10pm. Hourly rate of $21, with a $2 weekend differential. Additional hours may be available based on facility needs.
Bay-CSS is looking for a Residential Direct Support Professional to join our team in Waldorf for weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Accompany and support individuals during community outings and appointments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of individual progress and any incidents in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages personal growth and development.
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy towards residents.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
- Must attend all required trainings and certifications.
