We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) in Maryland. In this role, you will ensure that the services and supports provided to individuals with developmental disabilities meet the highest quality and compliance standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders to uphold our mission of fostering independence and inclusion and enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to evaluate service effectiveness and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits, reviews, and site visits to monitor service delivery and adherence to regulations.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, best practices, and areas for improvement.
- Work with DDA leadership, program managers, and stakeholders to address service quality gaps and foster continuous improvement.
- Provide staff and service providers training and support on quality standards and best practices.
- Investigate complaints and incidents, implement corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders based on quality assurance findings and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, public administration, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or program management, preferably in developmental disabilities services.
- Strong understanding of Maryland DDA regulations and policies.
- Experience conducting audits, reviews, and investigations on service delivery and compliance.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to drive improvement recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Maryland.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
- Familiarity with person-centred planning and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
