- Patient Care: Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Plan of Care: Assist in initiating and revising care plans as needed, in collaboration with prescribers.
- Therapeutic Actions: Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
- Intervention: Respond to changes in patient condition and report to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Education & Coordination: Identify areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning.
- Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License for the state in which you practice.
- Health Certificate: Current Health Certificate as per facility contract or state regulation.
- PPD or Chest X-Ray: Up-to-date PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- BLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
- Experience: One year of prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
