We look for employees who are willing to work hard, solve problems and help us grow.Position Summary:The Field Coordinator primary function is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of surveying projects in the field. This role involves managing field crews, equipment, logistics, and ensuring the successful execution of surveying tasks. The Survey Field Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining project timelines, quality control, and effective communication between field teams and project managers.Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand surveying project goals, scope, and client requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans and schedules for field operations.
  • Allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, based on project needs.
  • Provides technical expertise, enforcement of field procedures, and QA/QC policies.
  • Recognizes problems quickly, addresses and corrects them promptly.
  • Conducts meetings to ensure processes and procedures are actively being followed.
  • Maintains a good relationship with clients to assure securing future work the client may have.
  • Identifies prospective clients and participates in BD efforts and events.
  • Prepares proposals and contracts for projects.
  • Understanding and enforcement of health and safety regulations in surveying and construction Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including field work and crew management.
  • Proficiency in using all surveying instruments, GPS equipment, and related software.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address technical and logistical challenges in the field.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Leadership qualities to guide and motivate field crews.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, communication and computer skills.
  • Knowledge and skill of techniques, procedures, and theories
  • Experience in personnel management and supervising technical work.

Physical Requirements:

  • May require the ability to sit, stand, walk and manipulate (carry, lift, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk construction job sites and climb ladders is necessary.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate technical equipment, read technical information and to analyze complex data.
  • Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work- related errands or to attend meetings may be required.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Mobility to navigate uneven terrain and challenging environments.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime, especially during peak project times.
