The Position

The Sales Account Manager will work to grow new business for custom automated manufacturing solutions for Eclipse Automation. The incumbent will establish a sales plan, actively pursue business at new/existing accounts and manage the sales process for new opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain strategic plans for business development and account management to grow presence and strengthen partnerships with key accounts.
  • Prospect and qualify new accounts within target industry sectors and regions to expand the client base.
  • Lead the proposal process by utilizing sales tools and procedures, ensuring timely and high-quality proposal delivery that meets customer needs.
  • Prepare and present unique capabilities and solutions to potential clients and represent the company at industry trade shows.
  • Maintain regular communication with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and promote next steps for project advancement.

What We’re Looking For

  • An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical outside sales role.
  • Prior experience in the automation, medical technology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A highly motivated self-starter.
  • Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada, up to 50% of the time.
