Project Assistant

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Project Assistant in the tech retail industry. The role is based in Toledo, Ohio, and involves a range of tasks including operating POS systems, managing expo kits, and handling customer inquiries. This role requires a flexible schedule, including one daytime shift, one evening shift, and one Saturday shift per week.

Responsibilities

• Operating POS systems effectively and efficiently
• Managing expo kits, ensuring all components are available and in good condition
• Handling customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses
• Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Guiding customers to the right product based on their tech needs
• Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times
• Utilizing technical terminology when dealing with customer inquiries or explaining products
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to manage work tasks
• Organizing files and maintaining a well-ordered workspace
• Performing scanning and shipping functions as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage and adhere to strict timelines
• Proficient in data entry tasks and organizing files
• Experience in performing shipping functions
• Understanding of technical terminology relevant to the role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Familiarity with scanning documents and related software
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
