Production Manager

Nordetect is on a mission to improve the way chemicals are used in the food chain. We are a DeepTech company that produces a patented measurement system and data analysis software for environmental and agricultural testing. Our products enable farm managers, greenhouse growers, and vertical farmers to reduce risk and ensure richer harvests by leveraging data that is easy to understand and implement.

We're in the process of growing our customer base and are looking for new members to join us on this mission.

This position is a part-time role with the potential to convert to a full-time position for the right candidate.

Tasks

• Formulating strategic and production objectives
• Facilitating technology transfers and acting as a liaison with contract manufacturing organizations(CMOs)
• Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices
• Purchasing materials, planning inventory, and ensuring efficient delivery of products
• Managing budgets/forecasts and monitoring production KPIs
• Recruiting, training, and supervising staff involved in production and QC
• Supporting optimization and process development within manufacturing
• QMS implementation within manufacturing, defining protocols with CMOs.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven work experience (>3 years) as a Production Manager or similar role in hardware/medical device production organizations
• Experience with knowledge transfers and working with CMOs for industrial products
• Familiarity with business and financial principles
• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent
• Excellent business acumen, interpersonal skills, and resilience
• Preferably you have a Lean Six Sigma qualification and experience in leading and implementing lean process projects
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
