Job Overview

The Service Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of the service department, focusing on enhancing TFS’s business operations, quality standards, and cost efficiency. This position is essential for identifying avenues for process optimization and fostering customer and vendor relationships for both existing and new client bases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the service team, ensuring they receive appropriate training to perform their roles safely and complete Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) forms for scheduled tasks.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability by establishing clear expectations and providing necessary training.
  • Manage comprehensive personnel functions, including recruitment, training, development, performance evaluations, coaching, and counseling.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and adherence to maintenance schedules.
  • Schedule service work efficiently and monitor team performance against established expectations.
  • Accurately manage service costs through the business system's service management module.
  • Oversee inventory and indirect materials usage, ensuring efficiency.
  • Conduct site surveys to prepare accurate bid recommendations and JHAs.
  • Monitor filtration usage and performance at customer sites.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of service assignments at customer locations and the cell washing facility.
  • Maintain high levels of satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
  • Respond promptly to all information requests.
  • Generate accurate forecasts and budgets for sales and service usage.
  • Monitor system cleanliness and provide necessary metrics as required.
  • Manage the Booth Balance process if applicable.
  • Maintain the vehicle service schedule as needed.
  • Identify sources of defects and implement filtration solutions.
  • Recommend equipment to customers, such as Reverse Osmosis systems.
  • Identify opportunities for deeper engagement with existing customers and potential new business.
  • Train employees and clients on processes and filtration methodologies.
  • Protect and enhance the business value at assigned accounts.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • High mechanical aptitude with the capability to understand technical information quickly.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in service or business management is required.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in filtration or industrial settings is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Pay Rate Range: ***K - ***K Annually.
  • Shift Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Monday-Friday).
