Non Alcoholic Beverage Applications Manager

We are looking for a Beverage Applications Manager (Non-Alcoholic) to join our team. You will manage the non-alcoholic beverage team of application scientists and develop high quality applications for our customers. As a key member of the Sensient team, you will be required to push boundaries and innovate onsite at our Hoffman Estates campus, 5 days per week.

What you will do:

• Manage, coach and develop a high performing team while fostering a collaborative environment.
• Manage complex projects which includes leading beverage applications and prototype development in products coupled with providing excellent flavor applications support for Non-Alcoholic Beverage Customers.
• Interface with customers, Research & Development teams, and assist in responding to specific project requests with a sense of urgency.
• Investigate and assess new ingredients and technologies.
• Assist and leverage the development of new flavors/ingredients and new methodologies and contribute to technically driven business development activities in the Non-Alcoholic Beverage applications area.
  
  

What you will bring:

• 10+ year of experience in the food and/or flavor industry including 3+ years of beverage applications in a flavor house and/or beverage product development within a consumer products company.
• 2+ years of management experience, with history of motivating and developing teams and building high-performing organizations.
• Strong experience with beverage flavors and finished product development which includes knowledge of beverage industry ingredients, manufacturing processes, quality assurance programs and food regulations.
• Superior project management skills with a track record of achieving results in a fast-moving, complex environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Technology, or a related field.
