Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will gain hands-on experience in planning and executing a diverse array of events, including corporate functions, trade shows, and community gatherings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development in the events industry, allowing you to work alongside seasoned professionals and learn the ins and outs of event management.

Pay Range: $850 - $1250 weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of various events


• Communicate with vendors and clients to ensure all requirements are met


• Help manage event logistics, including setup and teardown


• Support the marketing efforts related to events, including social media and outreach


• Maintain event budgets and track expenses under supervision


• Research potential venues and locations for upcoming events


• Compile feedback and create reports post-events to evaluate success and improve future initiatives

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities


• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team


• Familiarity with event planning tools and software is a plus


• Ability to work outside of normal business hours for events as needed


• A degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
