Located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley, the El Monte Union High School District was established in 1901. Its high schools include Arroyo, El Monte, Mountain View, Rosemead, South El Monte and Fernando R. Ledesma High School. EMUHSD also features the El Monte-Rosemead Adult School, one of California's largest and most respected adult programs. EMUHSD employs over 600 certificated employees and over 500 classified employees. Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduation or Equivalent; one (1) year experience in the operation of a school bus; valid "A" or "B" Class California Driver's License; valid California Special Driver's Certificate preferred; valid Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or pass a test given by the California Highway Patrol; current DMV printout with clean driving record and ability to be insured under district liability insurance; Drivers must show proof of a valid P and S endorsement with sixty (60) days from the start of training to maintain employment status. All candidates will be required to pass a physical exam and drug screening. Employees are required to have physicals and drug screenings at regular intervals. • CPR/First Aid Certification (Valid Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or pass a test given by the California Highway Patrol)
