Psychologist Clinical for Veteran Disability Evaluations

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our esteemed medical professionals at the Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) facility located in Yuma, AZ. This role involves conducting one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams, providing a unique opportunity to impact the lives of those who have served.

Job Overview

As a Clinical Psychologist, you will review vital mental health history documentation and perform behavioral health compensation and pension assessments for Veterans. This role requires capturing examination responses through a web-based platform, ensuring all documentation is completed electronically and submitted to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze pertinent mental health history documentation.
• Conduct non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
• Document findings electronically through web-based examination forms.
• Submit completed evaluations to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
  
  

Required Skills

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with adaptability to changing environments.
• Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
• Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. or PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid, unrestricted licensure as a psychologist.
• Experience with VA or compensation examinations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Compliance with CDC and state vaccination guidelines for onsite staff and contractors.

• This is a salaried position, compensated bi-weekly.
• Flexible scheduling options available: 2-4 days a week, Monday-Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
