As a Data Analyst II, you will play a pivotal role in our Information Systems Department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Data Extraction & Analysis: Work with large datasets from our EHR and other systems to extract, clean, and analyze data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Predictive Modeling: Assist in building predictive models to support organizational goals.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all platforms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
- POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Health/Medical Informatics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Computer Science, or a related discipline OR Associate Degree in a Technology related field and at least 1 Data Analytics, Coding, or Software Engineering Certification.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in extracting clinical, operational, and financial data from electronic health record or similar systems.
- At least 1 year of experience writing complex SQL queries involving subqueries, temp tables, and window functions or experience building and maintaining SQL databases. Experience with PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting programmatic reporting and data analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries. Experience with PostgreSQL is a plus. Familiarity with programming languages like R, Python, SAS, or SPSS.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
- Team Player: Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Impactful Work: Your work will directly contribute to improving healthcare services and patient outcomes in our community.
