Position Overview

This position is located in Duluth, MN
Performance requirements
- Collaborate with leadership to execute product management & sourcing initiatives
- Support supplier relationships, assisting in negotiations, and contributing to cost-effective sourcing strategies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and streamline processes in the product development lifecycle.
- Assist in overseeing production timelines and troubleshooting issues to meet due dates.
- Participate in supplier selection, qualification, and performance evaluation processes.
- Report on sourcing and raw materials strategies
- Assess vendor product capabilities
- Allocate styles to vendors / factories
- Conduct cost exercise on key programs and evaluate potential savings
- Communicate updates to vendors post seasonal milestones
- Negotiate costs with vendors and confirm final costing
- Manage seasonal category time & actions (incl. long lead time / chase)
- Conduct production status to resolve issues affecting agreed time and action
- Manage test/chase strategies
- Lead Pod “WIP” (work-in-progress) Meetings
- Anticipate cross-functional team needs
- Prioritize tasks and projects to manage workload
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sweaters product management and sourcing, or related role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to negotiate, influence vendors, and collaborate cross functionally with internal & external partners
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
