Social Media Specialist

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in Camden, New Jersey. The specialist will play a crucial role in our digital communications team, focusing on content creation, analytics, and platform management. The role involves a variety of tasks related to social media strategy, including copywriting, content creation, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and create engaging content for various social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Utilize social media listening tools, like Sprout, to monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback
• Analyze social media performance metrics and use this data to optimize future content
• Collaborate with the team to develop a content strategy with a strong focus on video
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of social media best practices and trends
• Utilize graphic design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud to create visually appealing content
• Work closely with the team to ensure brand awareness and consistency across all platforms
• Develop and maintain editorial calendars to ensure regular content scheduling
• Use Google+ and Facebook Insights to track the success of advertisements and campaigns
• Manage a variety of tasks related to digital social front and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva for designing and editing visual content
• Experience in planning and managing editorial calendars for social media channels
• Ability to interpret Facebook Insights to inform social media strategies
• Familiarity with Google+ and its usage for brand promotion
• Knowledge of creating and deploying social media advertisements
• Ability to leverage analytics tools for measuring the effectiveness of social media campaigns
• Understanding of best practices in social media management and content creation
• Experience in blogging to enhance brand awareness and engagement
