Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the hiring and recruiting of store managers, assistant store managers, manager trainees and key personal within a store.
- Help resolve problems that affect the stores' service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Conduct orientation, train and coach the management staff in execution of daily tasks and to maximize sales.
- Coordinate new store openings, relocations, expansions, remodels and/or closing of existing locations.
- Ensure that proper channels of communication exist between stores and the corporation.
- Review operational reports and records to assure adherence to company policies and procedures, monitor store profitability and manage to a budget.
- Inspect premises of stores to ensure that adequate security exists and that physical facilities comply with safety and environmental codes.
- Oversee compliance of store managers with established company policies and standards such as safekeeping of company funds, personnel practices, security, and inventory management.
- Conduct annual store manager performance and store evaluations.
