We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Director of Catering and Conference Services to lead our catering and conference operations across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Director of Catering and Conference Services to lead our catering and conference operations across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering unparalleled guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all catering and conference services operations across Kahler Hospitality Group properties.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and enhance service quality.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of catering and conference services professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create innovative event packages and promotional strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve departmental financial goals.
- Drive exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering personalized and memorable event experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in catering and conference services management, preferably within a multi-property setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation and development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reports, and revenue generation strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of catering and event planning principles, including menu design, logistics, and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in using CI/TY and Delphi software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating exceptional event experiences.
