Molex is seeking a highly driven and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to play a critical role in delivering insightful and transparent analysis and forecasting of business results, as well as leading the annual and strategic planning process for the Transportation Solutions business unit. This is a highly visible role within Molex’s automotive division, acting as a trusted finance partner to the business unit leader with regular exposure to senior leadership.

Molex is seeking a highly driven and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to play a critical role in delivering insightful and transparent analysis and forecasting of business results, as well as leading the annual and strategic planning process for the Transportation Solutions business unit. This is a highly visible role within Molex’s automotive division, acting as a trusted finance partner to the business unit leader with regular exposure to senior leadership.
What You Will Do
- Provide actionable insight to the business by delivering transparent and insightful analysis of key business drivers.
- Drive operational decision making through consistent, accurate forecasting. Incorporating input from operations teams and identifying trends that impact business results.
- Lead the five-year forecast and annual planning processes, engaging cross-functionally to establish alignment and a clear connection between key bets and projected financial impact.
- Establish strong cross-functional relationships with consistent communication across the business to drive successful execution of key bets.
- Understand and own the business unit P&L and balance sheet
- Mentor and coach developing talent on the FP&A team, setting a positive example with a strong work ethic, diligent analysis, and sound critical and economic thinking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience working in Finance, Accounting, or other analytical roles.
- Strong working knowledge of P&L and balance sheet, including working capital and return on investment metrics, and leveraging variance analysis to identify key drivers.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex analysis to business leaders.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, with demonstrated Excel modelling experience.
- Collaborative team player mindset with the desire and ability to establish mutually beneficial working relationships throughout the organization.
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, and Think-Cell.
- Familiarity with leveraging Power BI or Tableau dashboards.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo, eliminate waste, and seek more effective ways doing things.
