We're seeking a dynamic Office Manager to create an energizing and productive environment for our talented team.

What You’ll Do

  • Office Operations: Oversee daily office operations for our 150 person Carmel office, ensuring a seamless and efficient workplace. Manage supplies, snacks, equipment, and maintenance to keep our office running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Culture Champion: Cultivate a positive and inclusive office culture, ensuring everybody feels heard and their needs recognized. Work with the office lead and office managers in other Carvana HQ offices to ensure consistency in our office cultures and how we support our teams across the country. Organize team-building activities, team sharing, and initiatives that boost morale and foster collaboration. We have a scrappy culture so creativity is a must when creating cost-effective but exceptional experiences.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our leaders, including coordinating meetings, managing travel arrangements, and supporting key company events.
  • Facility Management: Liaise with building management and vendors to handle office needs, from maintenance requests to space planning.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure the office environment complies with health and safety regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe workspace for all employees.
  • Communication Hub: Serve as the central point of contact for office-related inquiries, facilitating clear and effective communication across all departments.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years in office management, project management, or a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - comfortable in large groups
    • Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities by highest value
    • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom)
    • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Personality:

Other Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.

  • The physical activity requirements of the position range from Light to Medium Physical Work.
    • Frequent – standing, watching, touching, listening, walking, talking

  • Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions.
Physical Working Conditions

This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental working conditions, including temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with internal and external service station/convenience food and petroleum dispensing operations.
