Plant Electrical Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability and maintenance of our Plant’s power distribution systems and processing line equipment. Your expertise will directly influence our operational safety, environmental standards, quality, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and reliability of the Plant’s power distribution system and process line equipment, including various AC and DC systems.
• Manage and coordinate the efforts of the Maintenance Department or contracted personnel to enhance equipment reliability.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for the installation of equipment and materials, focusing on cost and time efficiency.
• Conduct inspections and testing of completed installations to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Develop maintenance practices and Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out procedures to safeguard personnel and equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages and equipment failures, ensuring timely resolution.
• Schedule and execute preventative and predictive maintenance tasks to maintain optimal system performance.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management capabilities.
• Proficient knowledge of industrial wiring, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, and HMI setup, programming, and configuration.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least three years of engineering experience in an industrial environment.
• Proven supervisory experience or readiness to take on supervisory responsibilities.
