The SIOP Manager (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) at Parker Aerospace plays a crucial role in executing and overseeing the Site’s Sales Inventory Operations Planning and Operational Planning processes. This position is instrumental in enhancing operational performance metrics including customer delivery, inventory optimization, productivity, and supporting profit and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process to deliver cross-functionally aligned long-term demand and supply plans.
- Facilitate the development and approval of the Site’s long-term Demand Plan, ensuring accountability from key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term Supply Plans through the Master Supply Plan and Production Schedules.
- Consolidate inputs and support Executive S&OP meetings, managing key risks and opportunities.
- Utilize Root Cause Analytics and Corrective Actions methods to drive performance improvement.
- Manage special projects related to S&OP implementations to support onsite management activities.
- Ensure that Planning processes align with Group procedures and are continuously improved for capability development.
- Build team capability through effective training, coaching, and hiring methods.
- Significant experience in Sales & Operations Planning and Operational Planning, focusing on Demand Planning and Master Production Scheduling.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chains and their impact on overall business performance.
- Proven track record in developing and leading S&OP processes within manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to drive key metrics improvement through effective analysis and corrective actions.
- High-level analytical skills and the capability to develop high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, particularly SAP.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- APICS CPIM certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning is mandatory.
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector or a related industry is preferred.
