The Financial & Reporting Analyst provides critical reporting and business analytics to further the development of our salons and spas and overall financial success of the organization. This position analyzes standard business and financial metrics, as well as playing a key role in developing financial reporting. Working directly with the CFO and other members of the leadership team, you will assist with the development of monthly reporting packages, financial modeling, budgeting/forecasting, board presentations and deliver ad hoc reporting requests and other projects as needed.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually. This position is classified as exempt and not eligible for overtime.
Minimal local travel within greater Seattle area. Mileage reimbursement available for eligible travel.

Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for extracting and manipulating large volumes of data from multiple financial and business systems to compile and present accurate and valuable analysis to support business decisions
- Prepare and present various statistical and operational reports to include commentary and recommendations for improvement
- Perform financial modeling and analysis
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate variances to expectations
- Partner with accounting and leadership to prepare weekly cash forecasts
- Back-up bi-weekly payroll process for the company, including data extractions, reporting and commission calculations
- Assist with preparations for executive and Board of Directors reporting/meetings
- Assist with preparation of financial plans, budgets and forecasts
- Partner with CEO and CFO to prepare and distribute managerial reports on a regular basis
- Partner with various departments including accounting, HR, marketing, purchasing, distribution center, salons & spas to provide business insight and financial analysis
- Lead selection and implementation on potential new reporting platforms
- Work with CEO and CFO on any ad hoc data requests and special projects
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent working experience.
- Comprehensive financial analysis experience with a demonstrated record of advancement into more complex analytic projects or roles; experience coordinating an annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts.
- Background includes a combination of financial, operations, and/or analytical experiences including knowledge of general ledger reporting systems, point-of-sale systems, SQL querying and expert-level user of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Experience with Net Suite, Power BI, and/or Tableau is a plus.
- Experience in use of Business Intelligence tools with system implementation experience a plus
- Advanced analytical and technology skills, and the ability to understand and communicate data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly as they relate to business reports and statements.
- High level of accountability and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Interest in the beauty/salon & spa industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
- This position is a hybrid role and will require the applicant to work in our Renton, WA office or our Salons within the greater Puget Sound region 2-3 days per week while learning the business and 1-2 days per week ongoing.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually. This position is classified as exempt and not eligible for overtime.

- 8 paid holidays per year.
- 120 hours of PTO annually. In the first year, 60 hours are awarded at hire and the remaining 60 hours at 6 months.
