Job Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Applications Developer to enhance our team and contribute to critical development initiatives that ensure compliance with NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program) regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Engage in complex application development using Microsoft technologies.
• Participate proactively in technical design and review sessions.
• Develop sophisticated software programs as per the specifications outlined by the Product Owner.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive unit tests to support all development changes.
• Integrate technical components into an existing web application effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance Analysts to uphold code quality standards.
• Oversee security scans and collaborate with fellow developers to rectify issues.
• Address customer software issues and respond to suggestions for enhancements.
• Exhibit strong system analysis and debugging capabilities.
• Perform with minimal supervision and peer accountability on complex tasks.
• Innovate solutions for various and evolving requirements imposed by external entities.
• Accurately assess work efforts and requirements.
• Draft and maintain design documents as part of the software delivery lifecycle.
• Enforce coding standards and partake in peer code reviews.
• Demonstrate solid experience with AWS Microservices architecture and development.
  
  

Required Skills

• Comprehensive implementation experience with object-oriented principles, including OOP design patterns.
• Exceptional system analysis and debugging skills.
• Strong commitment to quality assurance during the coding process, utilizing various software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development roles.
• Familiarity with Razor Pages in ASP.NET Core and the Vue framework is advantageous.
