The HR Generalist supports various human resources functions, including benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, and compliance. This role collaborates closely with the Director of Talent Management, HR Manager, Sr. HR Partners, and Talent Acquisition Partners providing direct support to the Food & Beverage and Guest Experience teams
Please note: This position is based in Mills River, NC. This position is a full-time, on-site role. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available.

What You Will You Do
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by partnering with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to screen candidates and facilitate interviews.
- Provide proactive coaching and guidance to supervisors and managers on employee concerns; hold regular one-on-one meetings with leaders to improve managerial effectiveness within Food & Beverage and Guest Experience teams.
- Assist in the administration of performance reviews, development plans, and succession planning initiatitives.
- Assist with new employee orientations at each brewery.
- Ensure company initiatives are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA.
- Interpret HR policies, counsel employees on work-related issues, and conduct investigations as needed.
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management, coaching, and employee development.
- Conducts research, analyzes data and prepares recommendations on assigned proj
- ects.Provide support in the areas of compensation and benefits: salary administration, proposing merit adjustments, assisting with communications, and helping employees with benefits questions and escalations.
- May support other HR-related functions and/or programs and initiatives.
Please Apply if You Have
- Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved required.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 1 year one (1) year Human Resources experience required
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Specific focus in restaurant and customer service preferred
- Knowledge of HR applications and programs. Working knowledge of HRIS systems (UKG UltiPro) and Microsoft Office
- Commitment to continuous improvement, focused on enhancing workflow efficiency and optimizing HR processes
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.
- Chico, CA, or Mills River, NC, with required work onsite 5 days a week
Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying
