We're hiring a Social Media Strategist!
We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Strategist to join our Marcomm Team! As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, guiding, and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that will grow online presence across a range of social media platforms for our Marcomm clients.
You will be working closely with our Marketing Team to create and implement social media strategies. You should be able to express our company vision clearly and creatively on all social media channels. You will be developing social media plans, scheduling monthly content calendars, providing direction, developing innovative ideas, and managing campaigns. You’ll serve as the expertise in social media across client platforms and be the voice of customer service. And, to show off all of your success and engagement, you’ll track social media initiatives with ongoing metrics reports. We’re looking for a self-starter who also loves to work with a team of industry professionals!

You’ll serve as the expertise in social media across client platforms and be the voice of customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement actionable strategies and brand voice on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok and other channels. (Having experience on all of these is not required but preferred. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn are a must.)
- Strategize and implement compelling social media advertising campaigns across a range of platforms for clients with strong targeting and clear return of investment
- Act as a community manager across all client platforms, consistently monitoring and concisely communicating with target audiences
- Draft, schedule, and post monthly content calendars as needed
- Track and monitor the success of social media initiatives and provide monthly or quarterly reports and recommendations for clients
- Serve as an agency resource, educating clients and staff on effective social media campaigns, social analytics, new reporting or listening tools and industry trends
- Work with account service and public relations teams to integrate strategic plans fully and cohesively. Work closely with our graphic designers and be familiar with Canva app when needed to execute social media creative needs
- Monitor client competitors and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR/journalism or related field
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of work experience in digital marketing and/or social media experience in private, public, government, or military environment
- Proven experience working with various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience creating social media plans and crafting and managing social media campaigns
- Knowledge of social insights and social advertising insights
- Results oriented – successful experience using qualitative and quantitative metrics to manage programs in order to drive revenue, conversion, sales and other marketing goals
- Self-starter who asks questions, learns quickly, and likes to problem solve
- Must be focused on building relationships, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proactively seek clarity
- Previous agency experience
- Experience promoting brand prior to launching new business/new product
- Experience using scheduling/reporting platform is a plus
- Experience with project management software
