Responsibilities include testing, preparing, and reviewing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control drawings, performing audits, and maintaining data integrity. This technician will ensure equipment operates smoothly in a dynamic automotive environment through proactive troubleshooting and supplier management.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical controls within an automotive environment.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and preventive maintenance planning.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Working knowledge of heat induction processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to safety compliance.
Control System Verification:
- Confirm functionality and compliance by designing and executing test procedures to ensure control systems meet safety standards.
- Prepare and review control drawings (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic) to meet project needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to evaluate components, materials, and supplier compliance.
- Maintain project documentation using approved tools and templates.
- Ensure the accuracy of data collection for all processes and builds.
- Address requests from manufacturing, process, and other engineering teams for timely project support.
- Conduct equipment audits, identify issues, and implement necessary improvements.
- Develop, review, and execute preventive maintenance plans to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Oversee supplier development and manage delivery timelines to ensure project objectives are met.
- Steel toe boots, FR uniform, safety glasses, and earplugs are required for this position.
- 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, every other weekend (6 AM/7 AM - 3 PM/4 PM).
