Description

StellarWP is looking for WordPress enthusiasts ready to use their skills to turn technical customer support into a stellar experience for our customer base. We are looking for people who are as passionate about problem-solving as they are about making every customer interaction a show stopping experience.

The StellarWP team is a group of highly technical WordPress enthusiasts who make event management a breeze for WordPress users worldwide. This is a permanent, remote, full-time position with a pay range of $18 to $22 per hour.

As a WordPress Technician you would:

  • Provide our customers exceptional support over a variety of mediums
  • Investigate and solve technical problems related to our products
  • Work to continuously improve our product offerings by documenting bugs and product feedback
  • Create informative, well-written documentation


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience working with WordPress
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills; patience and tenacity to drill down into an issue
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of WordPress
  • Strong familiarity with HTML and CSS, basic familiarity with JavaScript and PHP, and a willingness and ability to learn quickly for technical troubleshooting purposes
  • Familiarity with general web concepts and best practices such as SEO, caching, HTTPS, APIs , and using the browser console and other debugging tools to troubleshoot issues
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact appropriately with all levels of the organization
  • Ability and willingness to be an ambassador in both directions between users and the development team
  • Participation in educational opportunities, maintaining and staying current on relevant job knowledge
  • S elf-motivated and self-disciplined
