Litigation Associate

Boutique law firm located in San Fernando Valley seeks a junior Litigation Associate to join their firm. The firm seeks an energetic and proactive associate with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join its team. Experience from California-based firms in entertainment litigation, general civil litigation, and/or mass tort litigation is highly valued (preferred, not a must). We seek stable work histories and solid educational credentials from ABA-approved institutions. The firm offers a congenial work environment and an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney looking for an established boutique law firm with a varied litigation practice.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, as well as in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in discovery processes.
• Prepare for and assist in trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys to develop effective case strategies.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate case progress and expectations clearly and effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in California.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience in entertainment litigation, general civil litigation, and/or mass tort litigation is highly valued
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload.

Salary

$90,000 to $150,000 (Actual pay adjusted based on experience)
