Position Title: HR Coordinator

Reports to: HR Supervisor
Principle Responsibilities
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation, including the administration of I-9 documentation and benefit enrollment.
- Receive and direct employee relation issues.
- Maintain and regularly update HR related databases and reports.
- Assist in the maintenance of employee files.
- Facilitate Leave of Absence requests, including FMLA.
- Respond to unemployment claims and attend hearings on the Company’s behalf.
- Recruiting candidates to fill open roles.
- Process post-offer recruitment items.
- Be an advocate of what a positive relationship with HR looks like by building organizational trust and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Support the rollout and execution of HR projects and new initiatives.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-Related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist with HR tasks which may include, but is not limited to, applicant screening, onboarding, orientation, team member activities and events, performance issues and evaluations policy administration and training.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Proficient and professional communication and customer service abilities.
- Advanced competency in Microsoft-based software.
- Able to master new software systems specific to HR in an efficient manner.
- Strong disposition, able to work at a high-level, in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational & time-management skills.
- Previous HR experience, preferred.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
- Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
- Better Futures Program: 2 Year Community College tuition paid for you or your dependents;
- Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
- 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
- Base salary range of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
