Project Manager (Non-Tech) - Remote Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled Project Manager (Non-Tech) to join our team on a contract basis! This role is fully remote, based out of Redmond, WA, and provides a fantastic opportunity to build experience with a well-regarded organization. There's potential for extension based on business needs.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you'll support various programs and initiatives across multiple departments. This includes day-to-day program management, creating executive and team communications, assisting with business reviews, and producing high-quality presentations.
Working closely with program and marketing managers, you'll collaborate across teams to ensure smooth communication and effective project execution. Strong organization and communication skills are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Team and Communications Support:
Assist team leaders in content creation and management for essential updates, including:
Weekly team meetings
Executive leadership briefings
Team meetings and discussions
General content reviews and updates
Ad hoc presentations
Maintain team roadmaps and status updates.
Handle administrative finance tasks, including purchase orders (POs), statements of work (SOWs), and managing contract processes.
Partner with Surface Business Operations to integrate deliverables into the broader team schedule.
Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers and Data Analysts to support team communications and key project insights.
Lead process improvements for document management, tools, and templates.
Project Management
Support both first- and third-party partnership initiatives, including presentation creation and process documentation.
Assist Demand Generation program leads on sustaining program efforts, such as:
Market and product expansions
Contribution to weekly v-team meetings
Managing action items and following up with key stakeholders
Supporting seasonal campaigns and product launches
Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience: 3-4 years in project management or related roles.
Key Traits: Self-starter, proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing ambiguity.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven expertise in PowerPoint.
Collaboration: Skilled at engaging with stakeholders across various teams and departments.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
