As a Senior IT Analyst, you will lead essential functions within our IT department, ensuring our employees receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive IT support to our global workforce, identifying areas for improvement and continuously enhancing the support desk’s efficiency and service quality.
- Proactively manage all aspects of IT service and support, ensuring thorough documentation and keeping the IT team informed of ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated user requests, effectively delegating tasks and ensuring swift issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the systems team to design and implement new systems, processes, and procedures.
- Take charge of major incidents, coordinating resolution efforts and communicating effectively with stakeholders, as well as conducting post-incident analyses.
- Assess IT systems and deliverables, focusing on ITIL service desk operations, audio/video solutions, networking, and software administration.
- Propose and develop comprehensive solutions to enhance existing IT systems and processes, including project scoping and user-impact assessments.
- Configure hardware and software for end users, developing and disseminating best-practice documentation.
- Maintain and optimize meeting room and collaboration technologies, offering training to improve staff utilization.
- Troubleshoot software issues, oversee software installations/updates, and provide superior user support organization-wide.
- Manage distribution lists, shared mailboxes, Microsoft Teams groups, and mail-flow rules while delegating tasks as needed.
- Ensure network reliability, addressing connectivity issues, and implementing best-practice configurations.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist others.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts clearly to colleagues and staff.
- Proven ability to respond promptly to support inquiries via email, chat, and in-person interactions with a positive and helpful demeanor.
- Eagerness to learn independently and collaboratively with senior IT team members to enhance technical skills.
- Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, practices, and procedures, particularly in IT infrastructure and user support.
- Proficiency in helpdesk/ticketing software.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud-based technologies, especially within the Microsoft suite (Office365, Azure, Active Directory, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- In-depth understanding of networking systems and best practices.
- Expertise in IAM platforms and VoIP technologies.
- Strong multitasking abilities while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- A bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or 5+ years of pertinent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory, 365, Exchange, Intune, and SharePoint.
- At least 4 years of experience in network configuration and maintenance.
- Over 5 years of experience in supporting and configuring Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and communication skills.
